Recently, the 8th National College Student Network and Information Technology Competition, sponsored by the China Institute of Communications and hosted by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and other universities, was successfully held. A total of 3,441 contestants from 393 colleges and universities across the country participated in the competition, and 4 students from the School of Information Engineering won the "third prize" in the regional competition.
The National College Student Network and Information Technology Competition is a science and technology competition for college students across the country, the competition takes the form of online participation, and the competition requires contestants to complete 5G network topology planning, capacity calculation, equipment configuration, data configuration, service provisioning and debugging, index optimization and network troubleshooting in the competition platform. It mainly examines the comprehensive practical ability of the contestants in the analysis, design, deployment, commissioning, acceptance and industry application of 5G networks in different scenarioses.
