Recently, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education released the "List of Colleges and Universities for the Second Phase of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE)". The big data technology major of the School of Information Engineering of our university was successfully selected as a new generation information technology project.
Launched in 2021, the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education and leading industry enterprises in European countries such as Germany, focusing on relevant majors in key areas such as automotive, intelligent manufacturing, and new generation information technology, and selecting pilot institutions.
A total of 62 projects in Shandong Province were selected in the two phases, including 35 in the automotive field, 18 in the field of intelligent manufacturing, and 9 in the field of new generation information technology. China and Germany will jointly build a practice-oriented project teaching system, improve the assessment, evalsuation and certification system, and promote the "dual" education of project colleges. The implementation of the project will effectively enhance the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation and international exchanges in vocational colleges, and provide high-quality technical and skilled talents for the development of advanced manufacturing industry in our province.
The big data technology major of our university will take the pilot work of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE) as an opportunity to seize the innovation opportunities of Sino-German vocational education, give full play to the leading and radiating role of the Sino-German advanced manufacturing education cooperation project, and make new contributions to serving the high-quality development of the regional economy and industry.
