Professor Chen Xiangming from Peking University came to the school to give an academic report

In order to deepen the construction of the teaching team and improve the teaching ability of teachers, on the morning of August 20, the school invited Professor Chen Xiangming, a well-known domestic education research expert and professor of Peking University, to give an academic report entitled "Basic Ideas and Methods of Participatory Teaching".

Professor Chen Xiangming's theme of "participatory teaching" was carried out in a group-based, scenario-based and immersive way. The whole report started from three aspects: what is participatory teaching, the difficulties and countermeasures of participatory teaching, and why should participatory teaching be carried out.

In view of the current outstanding problems of teachers' teaching methods being too single and students' enthusiasm for participation, Professor Chen Xiangming encouraged young teachers to learn and apply "participatory teaching" from the perspective of solving the teaching dilemma, and required young people to adhere to the student-centered, understand the needs of students, and actively practice diversified education and teaching methods and methods. Professor Chen Xiangming pointed out that the key to participatory teaching is the concept and design of teaching, and the significance of participatory teaching should be understood from the perspective of learning, the essence of education, and the perspective of social democracy. After participating in Professor Chen Xiangming's report on "Basic Ideas and Methods of Participatory Teaching", the young teachers all said that they benefited a lot and would actively apply them to their future teaching activities.
